Classic Tube 50 - ein absolut exzellenter Vollröhren-Gitarren-Verstärker mit klassischem Röhren-Klang-Charakter: Sinnvolle Ausstattung und eine übersichtliche Anordnung der Bedienungs- Elemente gestalten die Handhabung des Verstärkers äußerst einfach. Eine außergewöhnlich edle Optik und der typische Röhrenklang, ergänzt durch einen melodisch klingenden Federhall, verleihen diesem Combo und Topteil einen unverwechselbaren Charakter.
Der ENGL Classic Tube 50 ist bestückt mit vielen technischen Details, die in der Praxis sehr nützlich sind: Zwei Gain-Bereiche, die ein breites Gain-Spektrum umfassen. Jeder der Gain-Bereiche ist für eine exakte Abstimmung mit separaten Hall- und Master-Reglern ausgestattet. Die Umschaltung erfolgt entweder am Verstärker oder aber über konventionelle Fußschalter an Klinkenbuchsen. Und die geniale Einrichtung "V.L.S.", eine abgewandelte Variante der sehr beliebten und praxisnahen Master A/B-Umschaltung großer ENGL Topteile.

Separate gain sections makes it easy to tune gain levels accurately and swiftly.
2 sound-shaping switches, Bright and Depth:
enable precision shaping of basic sounds, and allows you to tune sounds to best match your guitar's pickups.
3-way EQ: Bass, Middle and Treble, passive:
Passive EQ makes the most of the amp's fantastic tube tone.
A common EQ for the two Gain sections ensures maximum tonal linearityover the entire range of the Gain knob.
Master 1 and Master 2 controls: Let you adjust the master volume separately for each gain section.
The perfect solution for what are mutually exclusive option in conventional amps:
I. High gain setting for preamp overdrive in combination with medium power amp levels.
II. Medium preamp gain with a slightly overdriven power amp.
