A special Jackson USA Custom guitar, a predecessor of the SL2HT series model,developed by the famous Jackson Custom Shop team and produced in an extermely small run of only 12 instruments. A rare collector's item with absolutely outstanding quality of selected woods, craftsmanship, handling and sound!
Finish: Chlorine, special finish - except for PC1 Phil Collen Signature, never available on Jackson USA series models. Highest finishing quality in best traditions of Jackson Custom Shop. With gold hardware.
Body: Alder - for best resonance. With a beautiful flamed maple top.
Neck: Quartersawn maple - for best stability. Neck-thru-body construction - this enables a very good sustain, and a super easy access to the upper frets. Back of the neck oiled and waxed for better playability. The neck feels and plays fantastic!
Scale: 25.5"- Standard.
Fingerboard: Ebony, with expensive Sharkfin inlays and creme binding - a very classy looking instrument!
Frets: 24, Jumbo - a perfect fretjob, another famous feature on Jackson USA guitars.
Nut: 43 mm - Standard.
Headstock: Jackson Pointy - matching the body finish, with cream binding and special "Limited Edition" truss rod cover.
Tuners: Original Jackson.
Bridge: Non-tremolo, strings-through-body - for more sustain.
Pickups: EMG 81/85 active humbuckers, with a 18V circuit for more dynamics and headroom - this classic Zakk Wylde combination is very versatile, provides lots of gain for aggressive sounds, fits well for downtuning and is absolutely quiet, due to its active design.
Alternatively, upon request of the purchaser, we can also perform a professional installation of a different pickup combination, e.g. any DiMarzio, EMG or Seymour Duncan etc. (Very fair prices per pickup swap). Furthermore, we offer installation of active boost and EQ circuits like EMG Afterburner, PA-2, SPC, RPC, VMC, EXG etc. Please ask for details if interested.
Electronics: 1x Volume, 1x Tone, 3-way switch, battery compartment at the body back.
This is a very versatile instrument with a great tone and perfect ergonomics. Due to the neck-through-body construction, access to the higher frets is a breeze, not to mention the endless sustain! Decent, but important details like the brushed, blackened aluminium covers on the back, Switchcraft output, real CTS pots etc. prove for the highest quality level and technical perfectness of this very instrument.
Estamos hablando de una guitarra totalmente echa a mano de una tirada extra-limitada sólo 12 guitarras en el mundo la mía es la Nº9, la guitarra me encanta pero busco ahora mismo otro modelo que se asemeje a lo que necesito en estos momentos.. pero que quede claro NO TENGO PRISAS, me la quedaré y la disfrutaré mientras tanto, así que no quiero ofertas tontas,rebajas y demás. Cualquier tipo de info, será facilitada por privado!
