Classic Gretsch Model in Limited Edition Broadway Jade

Original style Gretsch Penguins are thought to be the Falcon's younger sibling but without any F holes and with a Duo Jet size body but still featuring the classic late 50s oversized headstock. Traditionally, the Gretsch Penguin is finished in white with gold sparkle binding, however the G6134TDC-LTD15 is a broadway jade colour with white sparkle body and neck binding.
Chambered Thinline Double Cutaway

This Ltd Ed. Gretsch Penguin has a thinline double cutaway body which is more common on Duo Jet Gretsch models. The double cut body is chambered with a Maple top. Adding chambers to a guitars body allows for a little less weight making the guitar comfortable to play, more importantly it allows air to circulate within the guitar to produce almost undefinable tonal benefits.
